B.S. Mechanical Engineering
University of Vermont, 2021
Minor in Pure Mathematics. President & Lead Mechanical Engineer of the FSAE Racing team, Alternative Energy Racing Organization. Designed and built Formula style racing frame and suspension around a pre-existing all electric vehicle design.
Upper Level Electives:
Computational Fluid Mechanics (Utilizing Ansys)
Computational Solid Mechanics (Utilizing Abaqus)
Advanced Mathematics (Differential Equations)
Air Breathing Propulsion
Process Automation / Design Engineer
New England Chimney Supply, 2021-Present
Automated manufacturing processes utilizing software and electro-mechanical solutions to improve efficiencies through material usage and labor reduction while improving quality and implementing scalable manufacturing practices. Concurrently managing daily manufacturing operations and working between customers and the manufacturing team while guiding one lower level engineer. Daily responsibilities required me to jump between standard design work, project work, customer calls, QCing and on the fly trouble shooting with the maintenance team. Lead calls on project bid for new contracts. Ran development of multiple new parts from concept to selling.
Major Projects
FUSION 360
Transitioned the design to CNC pipeline from four separate programs to Fusion 360. Developed a design package using the Fusion 360’s API with Python and an object orientated approach to automate custom sheet metal design assemblies. Successfully reduced design time by ~90%, increased material usage through automated nesting while lowering the technical skill required to fill the design role. Allowed for the design of more complex parts and usage of already owned tooling including a CNC laser cutter. Coordinated and oversaw the creation of a custom post engine to better utilize our main CNC laser.
DAMPER COMBO CAP
Picked up the stalled development of a new part, created novel solutions to manufacturing in house with existing tooling and multiple parts already sourced. Created new documentation for manufacturing and customer reference, successfully brought to market. Worked with the marketing team, expert consultants, manufacturing team, and potential customer feedback to fine tune the final design and manufacturing process.
AUTOMATED MESH CUTTER
Designed, tested, and built an automated mesh cutter. This machine uncoils roles of expanded mesh and shears to length sections. Plugs in directly to a standard shear that already was in use. Eliminated the need for a full time role that was difficult on the body of the operator, increased the accuracy of a sub component, and allowed for scalability as the company grows or if consumer demand dips.
SHOP MANUAL
Remade the in house parts manual to update manufacturing techniques, modern visuals, and broaden the usability as an in-house resource. Involved a deep understanding of all 100+ parts made and the ability to communicate with a wide audience.

Self Employed 2018-Present
Worked on various home improvement projects including renovating a barn into a modern apartment, and restructuring a roof to support solar panels. I use this work as an opportunity to develop my practical problem solving skills and enjoy using my hands to create solutions.
